BIOGRAPHY

Mr. “P” affectionately known as a preacher & teacher and seasoned expert on creating an inclusive school culture is an experienced Highly Distinguished Educator, and Dean of Students with 30 years of service from the District of Columbia, Public School System.  Mr. “P” has received numerous recognitions to include:   Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, Brookland School Teacher of the Year, and Outstanding American Teacher. Mr. “P” is known for engaging students in critical thinking and employing innovative techniques to support student and community learning through engaging students, parents, and collaborative partners through an educational equity lens with a focus on positive reinforcement of guidance, modeling, leadership, and acceptance.

During his early years, Mr. “P’s” love of learning was influenced by a strong family circle of educators!  The passion embraced by his mom, an educator of 36 years, encouraged his career interest as a youth.  Although he initially embarked on other areas of career interest, he quickly returned to his first love, education!

Frank Pendleton earned a B.A. Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia, and an M.Ed. Degree from Cambridge College, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Mr. “P” knows firsthand how an effective school system works.  His layers of experience firsthand from the classroom, administration, and community fuels his dynamic, innovative approach to creative problem-solving as an inspirational leader and team member.

As a speaker, Mr. “P” motivates and engages a variety of audiences with real talk!  He shares challenging and inspirational real-life stories and infuses proven effective strategies and ideas to support students thriving, growing, and succeeding!

As a professional mentor, Mr. “P” helps new or struggling teachers navigate various career paths in the dynamic field of education.

As an educational equity advocate, Mr. “P” helps organizations, individuals, and communities learn and implement new strategies to improve the intersection of education and community culture.
